We aren’t crying, we have something in both of our eyes... Recently, Chief Meade received an email from a mom from Bonney Lake, WA. It appears that her son, Tay...lor, is a big fan of the TFD. So big in fact that for years, his only wish for Christmas was for Santa to bring him one of the very rare TFD TL78 Code 3 Collectible models of the truck. These trucks are hard to come by, mom had no luck finding one, and it seemed like it would be another year without our Big Blue making a trip to Washington. In a leap of faith, mom reached out to us. It appears that when she explained to her son that she was unable to find this particular truck that he asked for, he replied but Santa can! On Christmas, our friend Taylor received his TL78 Code 3 collectible. His grandfather reached out to us to let us know that Taylor has autism and generally has trouble expressing his emotion, but not when he received Big Blue! A couple of things that hit home - 1. How much joy something like this brings to people. 2. The power of a parents love for their child. 3. Believing that something good, even if a long shot, is possible to happen. Well done to Chief Meade and the Ladies and Gents from Washington Engine. 2021 starting with a smile!
