Did you know it’s probably not a good idea to sell your home by yourself ? Don’t do FSBO . Use a realtor to sell your home . You will get more people seeing your home in person and you will have the access of multiple listing (meaning many other people acting on your behalf to sell your home ) and you will get pre-qualified applicants . What else ? You will get time because you won’t have to find time in your crazy days to show the house yourself letting non-screened ...strangers into your house. You will get more money even after you pay their commission . Hire someone you like , someone who knows your neighborhood, your schools, and the best pizza joints in town. Someone who will be straight with you and value you and your opinion . Someone who won’t force their people down your throat but will refer you to trusted advisors and tradespeople (inspectors, expediters, attorneys, contractors, etc) who are there to help you, not simply people who will give the agent an illegal kickback for the referral .
