Transport alert! Hadley is a ~1yo small mixed breed who found herself at a high-intake shelter in Louisiana. Luckily our rescue partners reached to us for help, and we said we could take this sweet girl before her time ran out. She’s a bit shy at first but has been beautifully coming out of her shell in her foster home and adores playing with her housemates. Her crate fee is $165 with our professional transporter, Wet Nose Riders Transport and she'll be arriving soon! If yo...u feel moved to donate towards her freedom ride, you may do so via the Donate button or this link, just be sure you put "transport" in the notes or leave a comment below that you sent it http://www.hornellanimalshelter.org/donate.html We aren't accepting applications on specific doggos yet (we'll be posting one more in the next couple days), but you may submit a general application now for pre-approval that we can have handy for when they are officially available, after they're assessed in their foster homes up here http://www.hornellanimalshelter.org/forms.html Please share this sweet face! Today is our first clinic for our Spay that Stray program. These faces are just a couple of the kitties that will be going through our program today. They will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and then returned to their caretakers. This program is set up for feral, stray, free roaming kitties that are living on the streets and have no other means for folks to help them. This program is run fully on donations so if you would like to donate to this program, all proceeds go directly to spay and neuter these types of kitties. Thank you for the support of these feral kitties. #spaythatstray #tnvr #feralcats

Hey there friends! I'm Mr. Bones! Intake date: 1/7/2021 Intake type: Transfer from NC Pup Partners Color: Green... Gender: Male DOB: 1/1/2020 Weight: 58lbs I am: Up to date on vaccines, Neutered and Microchipped My friends describe me as: Goofy, Playful, Affectionate, Eager-to-please, Smart, Curious My energy level: High- Always ready for action! Lets go! Home with children: Yes- I would love a home with kids but older children would be best. I am a very sweet boy but I am very energetic and tend to be jumpy so my family must be understanding of that and aware that I may knock the youngins over especially when I am overly excited. Home with dogs: Yes! I really enjoy the company of other dogs! Home with cats: No kitties for me I am quite the silly boy, with a goofy, fun personality. It does take me a little bit to warm up to new people but once I do, I am a big ball of mush and love. I do have an old injury to my shoulder that causes me to have a slight limp but it does not seem to bother me at all. I'm still a happy, go lucky dog who loves playing with all the stuffed toys I can get my paws on! If you'd like to meet me and bring me home, please fill out an adoption application :)

Coraline had a recheck at Colonial Veterinary Hospital yesterday and was given the green light to start short bouts of exercise to strengthen her leg muscles back up (she has been on cage rest to be sure her knee healed well after surgery). Thanks to your generous donations to the Frosty Fund last year, she was able to have this needed surgery! Coraline will be ready for adoption very soon. She’s a sweet kitty with a fun personality
