Update.... I would like to share some information from the Department of Health because we have had some concerns and rightfully so... In order to be placed in quarantine or to have any true concerns about exposure... You would have to be in the company of one our staff for more then 10 minutes and they would have to be unmasked (per the Department of Health). Our staff are always masked! Our staff go out of their way wiping and sanitizing everything a guest touches durin...g their visit after you leave. Door handles, sinks etc are wiped down every 15-30 minutes. Staying open was a difficult decision to make, but after speaking to staff and customers we decided to stay open because we feel that we provide a safe environment to enjoy a meal! We would never put our staff, or the customers we depend on in harms way. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns..... After we posted yesterday that we had no Covid 19 positives, as fate would have it... we were notified late this afternoon that one of our employees has tested positive from an outside source. We immediately contacted the Franklin County DOH for guidance to prevent any further issues. We remain open at this time following our conversation with the DOH. We have under gone a deep cleaning and are continuing to follow the safe practices that we have been following since this began in March. We are determined to survive this pandemic and keep 22 employees working. We understand that this is a difficult time and we want to assure you, our customers that we will continue to take all necessary steps to keep you and our staff safe at all times. We will always keep everyone informed for your safety and ours.

First and foremost, the safety of our employees and customers are our number one priority. It has come to our attention that rumors surrounding our business Hosler's Family Restaurant & Bar and employees are circulating around Malone. Rumors are what hurts a small business, especially when they are false. At this time we do not have any confirmed COVID-19 positive cases with any of our employees. We continue to be very cautious and continue with our program of wearing PPE and sanitize, sanitize, sanitize. This is a difficult period for the restaurant business, and all other small businesses.
