#Repost of a great project we did with @ubertoconstruction and @charlotteworthyarchitects The northwest salon in an early 20th c. townhouse which we reconstructed behind a restored facade for @charlotteworthyarchitects. We saved, catalogued and repurposed every piece of wood that was salvageable, but some rooms, such as this, were beyond restoration and had to be reimagined and rebuilt in the spirit of the original design. All of the architecture and built details in the room are new including the mantel, oak marquetry floor installed by @ijpeiserandsons and new ornamental plasterwork executed by @hydeparkmouldings. We are very excited about the opening of @michaelkors newly-renovated store in Manhasset, NY, where our Hyde Park Fine Finishes team completed a program of very special trowel-applied wall finishes!!
