This year the need is even greater as many New Yorkers are experiencing food insecurity , and as COVID-19 has impacted our daily lives, over 20% of our friends and neighbors have experienced unemployment. A report from City Harvest states that food insecurity is proj...ected to increase by at least 38% this year. This means 1.5 million people will struggle to put food on the table this holiday season.
