I ask a minute of your time to help the rate of decline in our healthcare system. This is an unprecedented time and now an unprecedented time to fight back. We can make a difference starting today.... Even before Covid struck, the Department of Health and Human Services confirms an audit done by the American Nurses Association that we have a shortage of more than 1 million nurses, and that according to a study by PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Health Research Institute, turnover among newly hired nurses is highest in the first two years, and that is increasing each year. At the at the current rate of nurse staffing deficits, together with the dilemma nursing facilities are already struggling to retain nurses, healthcare aides, and other key staff, we are heading towards a massive healthcare catastrophe with facility operations already in many cases at unsafe levels, and that is only getting worse. As a people we have a voice, and our united voices can make a difference. Please join me and share this link with those who care enough to make a difference. Thank you.

As you may have read or seen on tv, the Governor has revised Nursing Home Visitation Guidelines. Look for a letter being sent to resident representatives or keep an eye out here or on our website for information. Welcome Back! Jim

We are currently covid free for all residents.

Just an update...over half of our residents and staff have received the vaccine. We have a few residents who are still recovering but new new recent cases. 7 residents recovered today and are doing great. You'll receive a call if there are changes for your loved one. Jim

I'm thrilled to report that we are receiving the Covid Vaccine as I type! A large number of residents and staff have consented and we are all looking forward to an end to 2020 and this difficult time. We wish you and your families a better year in 2021 and hope everyone stays safe!

Just an update. We continue to have 1-2 positive staff and residents at a time. We increased our testing frequency to help stay ahead of it. We are working on a new visitation plan.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Unfortunately, we do have to report one positive resident case. Resident does not have symptoms and we have taken steps to protect everyone..

The facility has 1 case of COVID in staff. Video visits continue. Please call activities to set one up. Thank you for your understanding. Jim

Thank you to all the staff that participated in the Halloween costume parade, as well as the resident/staff pumpkin decorating contest...the residents truly enjoyed it .
