We're picking Red Currants this week -- that reddest of all fruits, translucent, tangy-tart, good for jams, baking, and just about anything that calls for lemon.

Wow, thanks everyone for a record-breaking opening day! We had the ovens running all day and could barely keep up. We'll be at it again tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday. Produce options will expand starting next weekend, but we still have plenty of cherries. Special thanks to you the customer -- even with lines and temporary shortages, we've never seen so many cheerful, patient, understanding customers. We're honored that so many of you consider us an "essential" business. We're looking forward to a great season. THANK YOU.

We're kicking off our 105th Season, Opening this upcoming Saturday June 27! Covid19 policies FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS: The bakery will be fully operational but to help customers maintain proper distancing, we will have a bakery order table at the front door instead of having customers enter the store. You can order there, receive your baked goods, and proceed with your produce to an outdoor register under our brand new overhang. Honey, jams, eggs, apple butters, ect. will ...also be available for purchase outside the store. THURS, MONDAYS: (typically slower days for us). The store will operate as normal but we ask that no more than three parties at a time enter the bakery/store at one time. As usual, we are CLOSED TUES AND WEDS Please give us at least 24 hours for a reserved bakery order 518-851-7460. All other orders are first-come, first-serve daily. The rules we're asking are simple. Use common sense. FEEL SICK? STAY HOME WEAR A MASK IF YOU CAN ONLY TOUCH WHAT YOU BUY THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE!

We're aiming to open Saturday, June 27th. Mark your calendars! Things are slow to start, produce-wise, with the cool spring and dry summer, but we'll have the bakery up and running, honey, jams, and likely some early cherries. We are making a number of small changes to the store this year to keep you and your family healthy and to comply with covid19 requirements.
