We started making our sunflower flour several years ago in our effort to use all parts of the sunflower. Since then our sunflower flour has been used in bread, pie crusts, donuts and so much more! At home, we cook with it since it a gluten-free flour and we also use it as the base for our baking mixes! Happy Day 11 of our 2020 Holiday Countdown and Happy First Day of Hanukkah! It seems surreal that tomorrow is our HVCPO's Outdoor Holiday Market, but we are al...l excited to welcome you back to our farm for a great day of outdoor shopping! Plan to grab a cup of coffee from one of the amazing local coffee shops in the area and head over to visit with us and about 20 other vendors selling wonderful gifts for the holidays! From handcrafted wooden ornaments to one of a kind tumblers to gorgeous pottery thrown right here in the Hudson Valley and more, more, more, you should definitely be able to cross off a lot of names on your holiday shopping list. We will be on-site with our full lineup of sunflower oils, flours, mixes, and gifts and will be operating a custom gift basket station as well to help you make unique HVCPO baskets to give to loved ones. Everything will be outdoors, masks are required and we will be limiting the market to 50 people at a time. Staff will be on hand to help ensure that we can provide you an easy and festive shopping experience. In addition, please do not forget that we will be collecting art supplies for the teens at the Children's Home in Poughkeepsie.
