The Town Hall will feature a performance by Meera Dasgupta, National Youth Poet Laureat; a youth-centered conversation about absentee voting; and an explanation of how the vote by mail process works. Our panelists for the evening include Tim Hunter, CUNY graduate and USS chair; Charlotte Ritz-Jackson, co-executive director of Coalition Z; and Navjot Pal Kaur, CUNY alumnus, blogger at Kaur Republic, and voting rights activist. The evening will end on a call to action to send in absentee ballots. We will also be providing resources on vote by mail for young people to share with their peers.
