Dear Friends, Please help us share this important post. The Hudson Valley Humane Society will host the TARA mobile clinic this Thursday, May 7 -- this is low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats. Whether you need your personal cat spayed/neutered OR a community cat in the area where you live, all are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity and prevent unwanted litters. For $70 per cat they will be: spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccine, have their ears cleaned and nails trimmed. This is a substantial savings and we hope you will take advantage of this. Dear Friends of the HVHS, The health and safety of the entire Hudson Valley Humane Society family is of the utmost importance to us. As a prudent and precautionary measure related to COVID-19 concerns, we are temporarily suspending public programs at the HVHS Headquarters (200 Quaker Road, Pomona) as well as at our offsite adoption center at PetSmart in Nanuet. This includes all visitors, tours, and patrons of our Thrift Store for the remainder of March. We will, however, han...dle adoptions by appointment and pre-screen each applicant’s interest initially by phone.
