A portable fire pit that will last... Great for Campers, RV's, boats or the weekend outdoorsmen. Made from 3/16" steel, when assembled, this pit can handle a 16" x 12" charcoal or wood fire. When you don't need it, it stores into a convenient 19" x 13" x 1.5" frame. Making it great for trips or for those that need to save the room in their vehicles. These fire pits can be seasoned as you would any cast iron frying pan. The fire pits are coated/shipped with a thin layer of ...vegetable oil to prevent rusting. But you can coat the pit prior to each use to bake those oils into the steel and season the entire pit. If you prefer not to season the pit, it will take on an orange patina, but will last for years of use. The portable fire pit can be purchased on it own and used for campfires. Or add a grill, griddle or both for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Each Grill or griddle has a cooking area of 9" x 17".
