Long time sister and teacher at ICS, Sr. Mary Aileen, has passed away. Sister would have celebrated her 93rd birthday on November 1st. For those of you who do not know Sr. Aileen, she was a Sister of St. Francis who worked at our school for 43 years! For the past several years we have bestowed an award at graduation in her name. ... The Sr. Mary Aileen Service Award This award is given to a student who demonstrates the Christian virtues of kindness, gentleness, and loving service in the spirit of Sr. Mary Aileen She was dearly loved by many: Sisters, family members and friends, students, families, and colleagues. She will be dearly missed. For those of you who had the privilege of knowing Sr. Aileen I am sure upon reading this you have already offered a prayer for this gentle woman who dedicated her life to God and to the service to so many others. May she rest in peace.

It’s #WhereAreTheyWednesday! Meet Dan Daly ICS Class of 1985. Dan went on to graduate from Iona Preparatory Class of 1989 & Fordham University Class of 1993 with a degree in Business Economics. Dan worked for Coca Cola for 20 years in distribution, logistics, & fleet management. He went to BMC (construction) where he instituted a fleet management and procurement program. Dan is now Director of Supply Chain for Volt Power, an energy construction business helping to restore power to the recent victims of Hurricane Delta. He is an avid cyclist and lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and daughter. Are you an alumni of ICS?
