Early results of a year-long field study confirm that IEM's "SIRIS", unlike other means for screening with thermal cameras, can automatically identify vehicles with serious safety concerns. Well over 80% of the vehicles flagged by IEM's "SIRIS" for inspection were subsequently placed out-of-service.
