We are currently not able to take in any new kittens or adults we are filled to Catpacity!!! We also have 55 kittens in foster currently. We will advise once we are able to bring in more furry friends. It will be at least 4-6 weeks before we have fosters open and more room in the adoption center.

2020 has been one of the most difficult years for everyone and has been very hard on animal rescue groups that survive on donations and fundraisers alone. Kitten season started early and is still going strong. We have taken in over 150 kittens this year and numerous adults who were in need of a safe place and a new lease on life. Many of whom were sick and needed alot of costly veterinary care. We have worked with other small groups and independent trappers to assist them w...ith their volumes on top of our normal intakes. While we are still doing well, it has still been very taxing to lose out on our large fundraisers and events that help cover our vet bills and operating costs. We are all volunteers at HEART often putting ourselves last in order to make sure our furry friends receive the best vet care, love and socialization they need. We laugh, we cry, we keep on moving forward to continue to save lives. Our adoption fees barely covers basic vet care and we often have to go above and beyond to help the sick and injured animals im our care. We often take in animals with no donation to ensure they are not left on the street. This leaves us and many small groups vulnerable during this pandemic. Please consider donating to us, or any other local rescue group in this time of need. Support small local rescues they are the back bone of the animal rescue community and are all over run this year and have been filled to capacity for several months. You can and do make a difference !!!! Thank you for always being our supporters!

Thank you to everyone who came out and took advantage of our first Micro Chip clinic!!! It was wonderful to work with each and everyone one your cats and dogs!!! This was great success!!! We had a range of pets from kittens to Rottweilers and thos in between!!!

There are still open appointments for our microchip clinic THIS Sunday 10/18. Check out the event for more information. $20 includes getting your animal microchipped and lifetime registration, with no annual fees.

Margo was found in a drain pipe on Staley Road in Hamburg. She was successfully trapped and we are now looking for her owners. She will be on a 14 day Stray hold to give owners a chance to find her. No microchip. No collar. No Tattoo, Proof of ownership required.
