Happy Thursday Everyone. This message is a bit long...but worth reading :) Have you ever felt like you were working really hard, but not seeing any progress. ...It appeared like, every Saturday, the house was getting worse and worse. Well, that feeling is gone as we continue to work at 34 South Pearl Street. The progress has been amazing in the last few weeks and rebuilding has begun. I cannot thank all of our College friends, fraternity's, sororities and clubs who have been helping us out. Your work is paying off and we could not do it without you. To Jason Reester and the crew (too many to name here) Phi Kappa Sigma - Clarkson University you guys are amazing and we appreciate every bit of how hard you work. To Delta Tau Tau, you have not gone unnoticed. Thank you so much for helping the week before. We hope you can join us again. To all of our regular's - Moe Woods, Ken Denman, Linda Bouissey, Dave Peck, Donald Richard, Mike Ranier, Jack Sullivan and our future homeowner, Bianca Palmer; there are simply no words at how dedicated you are to this amazing organization. Your hard work shows through every week and without you, we would be struggling to get this done. A HUGE Thank you to Tim Lashomb for helping Jack with some electrical issues. I know it is a work in progress and we can't wait to have more than two working outlets :) A delicious lunch was provided by the crew at Citizen Advocates Inc.- North Star Family of Services so thank you Rachel Badgley and crew. Everything was delicious. Now, on to what is happening this week. We will be joined this week by the Northeast Carpenters Local 291 so if you ever wanted to see these guys at work, this Saturday is the day. We learn so much every time they join us so we are all super excited. They are only with us for a few hours but wow, they get stuff done for sure. We have to complete a concrete wall in the basement in order to get it closed in for the winter. We have plumbing pipes to run into the kitchen, a bit more demolition in the house, work outside is on our list and a variety of other tasks. We hope you can take a few hours out of your schedules to join us.

Local fraternity Phi Delta was recognized by Clarkson's Inter-fraternity Council on March 20, 1960. They purchased 74 Elm from Zeta Nu Fraternity several months... later. On April 28, 1963 the brothers became the Iota Kappa chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon (Teke).
