It's with a Heavy Heart that a Dear Friend and Sous Chef of In My Father's Kitchen has passed on into Glory. Leigh Ann and I met Tony while facilitating a Transformed Life class at Abundant Life Christian Center. Tony had a powerful story of overcoming addiction and shared his story with many of our homeless friends suffering with addiction. Tony would come down on Fridays to IMFK and we would sit and talk about life God and all our homeless friends. Tony I will miss our conversations on this side of Glory. Till we meet again my Brother on the other side of this thin veil. Love You John and Leigh Ann

Remembering a Friend Today It's has been a year since we received the message of the passing of our dear friend Ben (Red Beard). He is one of 36 friends that we have met that has died since 2011. We met Ben in 2013 and assisted him into housing 3 years ago. That is his sign HE CREATED that we use at IMFK. I remember him unfolding it for us when he was on the streets, it showed us that he bought into the true meaning of the Words You are Not Invisible. We tell all our friends outdoors that they are Not Invisible. Ben knew that no matter what's going on in life, He was Not Invisible and that we were there for him. We miss you dear friend till we met again, You will never be Forgotten. #lifendeath #lifeisbutavapor The IMFK Family

Great Day with Dr. Lehmann on the streets today. We are getting ready for Flu season and have 7 homeless friends ready and willing to get their shots. Doc also assisted by Anna today Medical Student (Ms2) learning about street medicine. Love the Collaboration between Medicine and Street Outreach.
