These 10 creepy stories from Celtic mythology will keep you shivering this Halloween. https://www.irishcentral.com///monsters-demons-celtic-myth
Halloween is still a couple of weeks away. That's plenty of time to learn a few scary Irish words. https://www.irishcentral.com//30-scary-halloween-words-in-
This is going to be a great event hosted by the Irish ambassador to the US and featuring one of Ireland's most respected historians and a new short film premier. It's online and free! https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/black-abolitionists-in-ireland-

Definitely looking forward to this movie when it comes out!
Find out the difference between a bucket and a pail, where the term barrel actually comes from, what a firkin is, and much more in this presentation about the historic coopering trade by Bob Allers. Thank-you for viewing our presentation. Donations are gratefully accepted and help us fund future programs. https://www.paypal.me/ICCMohawkValley
Here's a great series about how to pronounce Irish names and what they mean in English. And they're illustrated by some pretty cool artistic collages too. https://irishartscenter.org/event/irish-word-of-the-week
Hey, look at this cool program we have coming up this Thursday at the Irish Cultural Center. It is about COOPERING, bucket- and barrel-making. It will be a very interesting presentation, beginning at 7pm. You could head to the ICC early for a bite to eat in the 5 Points Pub, which would make it an even better evening!! Free tickets must be ordered through Eventbrite, which will allow us to limit attendees in order to stay within state guidelines. We will also have a Doorprize or two. Come on over to the ICC to hear Bob Allers talk about Coopering!
Here's a great new slip jig from some of our favorite musicians!
Woodworkers and history buffs! We have 16 people signed up for this event as of today (Monday). That means there's space for about 30 more. It's inside the ICC's museum space - a large area. Masks are also required when people are not seated.
Anthony Murphy takes some amazing pictures of ancient sites in Ireland. This one is more than 5000 years old. (The lights are newer.)
