One of our young up and comers getting his movie debut.
Fourteen months from the start of the project American Iron topped out the last of five multi-story dorms on the North Campus Residential project today. The Iron Workers from Local 60 have put in a lot of hours on this project starting with all the reinforcing done by Whitacre Engineering, the steel/precast/miscellaneous done by American Iron, and the curtain wall and windows done by Ajay Glass.

Wanted to share this with everyone to emphasize how important it is right now for us to all be taking precautions and following the guidelines being put out about the Coronavirus. This is a local orthopedic surgeon from Upstate who posted this. Notice the eight days from "everything is fine" to what is described by the french surgeon in the second paragraph. Also notice the reference to how all the patients are not old and sick. The only certainties about the virus right now are, it"s extremely contagious and can it can be extremely serious for some people who contract it.
Photos of the Cornell University North Campus Project being erected by American Iron. The Iron Workers are erecting the structural steel, precast plank, precast facade, and the miscellaneous stairs and handrail. All the reinforcing steel has been placed by Iron Workers working for Whitacre Engineering so far. A lot of work completed in the 9 months since ground breaking and even more left to go.
