Irvington Public Library 22.02.2021

Today, the staff of the Irvington Public Library are joining hundreds of #LibraryAdvocates across NYS to advocate for the legislative and budget priorities that will strengthen #NYSLibraries We call upon our representatives in state government, including Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assemblyman Tom Abinanti, to recognize the importance of library services and resources to our communities, and to support bills and initiatives that allow us to maintain and grow our services. We are advocating for increased #NYSLibraryOperatingAid because the pandemic has proven the need to offer remote services to patrons in our community via virtual programming.
