IFA Reopening, Summer Camp 2020 and Online Classes Dear Fencing Parents, We are glad to inform you that IFA is reopening starting Monday July 6, 2020! We will offer a day camp, open bouting and online classes. ... We will follow CDC, USFA and NY State COVID-19 safety guidelines strictly. Sanitizers will be available across the facility. Coaches will wear masks when required. Facility will be cleaned daily. PLEASE NOTE: PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN A CLUB! PLEASE DON'T COME UPSTAIRS! DAY CAMP Weekly session Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Drop off as early as 8:30, pick up by 4 PM Following sessions are available: July 6 - 10, 2020 July 13 - 17, 2020 July 20 - 24, 2020 July 27 - 31, 2020 Aug 3 - 7, 2020 Aug 10-14, 2020 Aug 17 - 21, 2020 Aug 24-29, 2020 We provide water, you have to provide a lunch. Price: $400 for first kid, 50% discount for second and up kid in a family If registered for less then 5 days, price is $100 per day. We ran our first online class today. I never thought that it will be possible, I never even consider that one day we'll teach fencing online. But that's not what I want to share with you now. I want to share my feeling. It was absolutely amazing. When I saw happy faces of our kids today, I knew that life has a meaning. Thank you all. Thank you Brittany for amazing job.

Dear Fencing Parents, I hope that everybody is safe and in a good health. It is a very difficult times for kids, and we are trying to help them a bit happier - as much as we can. As you know, we are closed at least till April 6. Nobody knows what will happen after. We are working on preparing an online classes for our kids. Meanwhile our focus is a program itself and technical aspects - such as choosing a video platform, chat etc, and hopefully we will be ready by the end ...of the day today and will start tomorrow. We plan to have classes at least 5 times per week; each class will be about an hour. I will get back to you as soon as we'll be ready. We need to keep the distance, but stay together this days. IFA fencers awarded top honor for their outstanding fencing performance this season. The All Long Island Award, which is given to the top two outstanding fencers in each weapon in Nassau County and Suffolk County was bestowed to: Olivia Jin: 38-1 (97.44%)... Jeremy Lau: 29-1 (96.67%) Jovana Lau: 28-2 (93.33%) Kaden Ho: 26-2 (92.86%) Congratulations to all four fencers, and a special thank you to their coaches, families and friends for all their support.
