So how do new luxury condominiums get to sell most of their units before they’re even finished building it? Easy. They select a few brokers & agents to swing by to a specially curated event complete with horderves, champagne and even entertainment such as this break dancing group. They did this for the opening of a new condo building in Long Island City. Then they allow us to preview models of the units from every size; 1 bdrm, studio, 2 bdrm etc. This will then allow the bro...kerage community to spread the news to their home buyers. As a Corcoran agent I truly do have the latest scoop on the inside market and I attend events like this on the regular. Well it’s day 3 of the corona quarantine so maybe not in the next few weeks.
