Ithaca College Women's Track and Field 16.12.2020

Senior Christine Benway placed 12th in the 100 meter hurdle prelims yesterday at the NCAA Division III National Championships. Benway's time was just .18 away from making finals. Great job Christine! The Bomber's final competitor, Emilia Scheemaker will compete in the triple jump at 2:30 today.

Ithaca College Women's Track and Field 08.12.2020

The Ithaca College Women's Track & Field Team now has their first ever outdoor national champion! Sophomore Brandy Smith won the discus competition at the NCAA Division III Championships with a throw of 53.00 meters. The throw was just 2 meters off of the dIII national record. Congrats Brandy!

Ithaca College Women's Track and Field 26.11.2020

The Bombers start competing at NCAA's today! Our first event is Brandy Smith in the disc at 10:30. Alex Rechen and Kat Pitman will compete in the pole vault at 12:00. While Taryn Cordani will run the semi finals of the 1500 meter run. Senior Leigh Martino will run compete in the 400 hurdle semi finals at 4:20, and classmate Alexa Rick will run the 10k at 6:15! Competition continues tomorrow and Saturday

Ithaca College Women's Track and Field 09.11.2020

The Bombers competed today at Cornell and the NYSCTC Heptathlon. Cornell's performances were highlighted by Emilia Scheemaker's first place finish in the triple jump, Brandy Smith's first place finish in the shot put and Kristina Stockburger's first place finish in the hammer throw. Bri, Natalie and Paige will finish the multi-event tomorrow while the rest of the bombers are in action next weekend at the NYSCTC Championships at St. Lawrence!

Senior Emilia Scheemaker of the Ithaca College women's track and field team earned her second straight All-America honor at the NCAA Division III Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Saturday afternoon with an eighth place finish in the triple jump.
