If you want to ramp up your vitamin intake and ABSORPTION, both for anti-inflammatory and anti-viral purposes here are a few tips: 1. increase vit C intake throughout the day ( broccoli, bell peppers, strawberries, kiwi, hot water w/lemon should all be staples. 2. Increase vit D by eating wild salmon, canned tuna, egg yolk & mushrooms 3. Get adequate Zinc- eat organic spinach, beef, shrimp & flax seeds 4. Get Probiotics from Greek yogurt. If you want to embrace a little pumpkin flavor, this chia overnight pudding is a great way Mix 1/4 cup chia seeds, 3/4 cup non-dairy milk of choice, 1/4 cup pumpkin purée, 1 cup plain Greek yogurt and 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. Stir well and place in fridge overnight. Makes 2 servings. And this week’s favorite product? Bada Bean Bada Boom - great high protein snack and comes in several sweet or savory flavors! A Healthy Twist on some favorites! Dark Chocolate Protein Pudding: - 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 scoop favorite chocolate protein powder ( I used MRM Veggie Elite Chocolate Mocha), 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1 cup non-dairy milk of choice. Pinch of stevia if you would like a little added sweetness (can also add tsp choc zero maple syrup). Add all to a blender, separate into 2 glass jars and refrigerate. Add some whipped cream of choice and enjoy any time of day! And 2 new Friday Favorite products? Current Favorite Apple Dessert and Food Finds... loving my air fryer for these cinnamon apples with walnuts & vanilla ice cream. Core and slice apples. Toss them in 1-2 tbsp melted coconut oil & cinnamon. Bake in air fryer at 370 for 12-15 min or to desired softness, tossing and checking in 4 minute intervals. Add ice cream of choice and a handful of crushed walnuts when serving ( CADO non- dairy ice cream is my new favorite).
