Then tune in this Friday, January 22nd, for the livestream of a stellar jazz ensemble, part of the Friday Night Live concert series organized by Ambassador Yamanouchi and the Consulate General of Japan in New York. Erena Terakubo, a notable young saxophonist, will be featured, with Akiko Tsuruga on organ, Paul Bollenback on guitar and Fukushi Tainaka on drums. Thank you to all who joined JAA’s Charity Art Exhibition opening on Thursday, December 10th! Most of the artists and viewers joined us online, and a few came in person (thank you for attending, Ambassador Yamanouchi !). This exhibition by Japanese and Japanese American artists will be up until December 19th at 3pm (please see the flyer below for details such as gallery hours). Part of the proceeds will go to JAA to help restart its community programs in the new year.
