Many of you know the face of our owner, Andrew but many of you may not know the young woman on the left, Michelle. Michelle is a Doctor at Flushing Hospital and as you can imagine, has been working non stop to help save lives since COVID struck. As if what Michelle does for work isn’t enough, on her days off she’s worked to raise over $20k to provide meals to front line workers at Flushing Hospital and several other nearby hospitals. On her days off she’s still finding ways t...o give and make a difference last week she was working on care packages for nurses on top of everything else she’s doing. Have you ever met anyone more selfless? Three days ago we prepared brunch for 70 healthcare workers and are so grateful for people like Michelle who are working the front lines, raising money to feed the front lines AND helping small businesses likes ours and so many others. We really feel blessed to have crossed paths with a positive woman like her during this negative time. When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping. - Mr Rogers Thank you Michelle for being a helper during this scary time. Everyone at Jackson’s loves you and we cannot wait to reopen and welcome you and your daughter for a post-gymnastics brunch date. Stay well!
