There are currently 12 homes in contract in Tuxedo Park and there are only 22 active on the market. I recall a couple of years ago when there were over 35 homes on the market and very few in contract at any given time. The Tuxedo Park market remains a strong seller's market at this time. I was pleased to sponsor the recent Orange County Land Trust virtual wine tasting with noted "Windows on the World" wine expert Kevin Zraly. Over the course of about 1.5 hrs last Thursday we tasted 4 wines from the USA's largest viticultural / wine producing states - CA, OR, WA and NY. New York really has some amazing wines. You can see in the photos some of the wines we tasted. At the end of the tasting there was a great musical performance by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason. My favorite wines rankings were #1 Substance Cab #2 Wagner Riesling #3 Schug Chard #4 Cloudline Pinot, but each and all are really great wines to taste, amazing information from Kevin, delightful music from Jay and Molly - including their theme song to Ken Burns' CIVIL WAR documentary. All for a great cause for land preservation for Orange County Land Trust!
