SANTA COMES TONIGHT AT JAKE’S! It’s Drive Thru Style this year! Everyone is welcomed to enjoy this FREE event we have every year! Since this year is a little different here are a few things you should know! Please see attached picture of a map to help with entrance and exit to our drive thru event. We also have The East Concord Fire Department to help direct traffic. We ask that everyone that drives thru the light show to go 5 mph. ... Was it a family tradition to get your Christmas Tree that night as well.... Our store is still open for normal business. We have Christmas Trees, Wreaths, Poinsettias, and many gifts for everyone in our Christmas Shop. This year is no different from other years with donations to Oishei Children’s Hospital. There will be an elf before you see Santa accepting unwrapped toys and any money denominations. It’s always a joy taking these donations to them every year! Let’s keep the children smiling during Christmas! Santa will be at the end of the light festivities. Please feel free to take pictures. Santa’s Letter Mail Box will be next to him. If your little one wants to yell out the window and make sure they tell Santa what they want... they sure can! And here is the best part besides Santa being there. Tune in to 95.1 FM and you can listen to our very own Music for our tour until you meet Santa. Our theme is Christmas Vacation! We know this just isn’t the same but we hope everyone enjoys what we can offer during this crazy time we are living in. Tell EVERYONE!!! The Stanier Family has been loyal customers of ours for years. Ava Rose is just about to turn 2 years old this month. She has a rare genetic mutation that causes her to have epilepsy with hard to control seizures which have also interrupted her vision causing her to be legally blind. Her benefit was scheduled in March and with the COVID-19 it has been postponed to September 12th with hopes that it can be done at that time. We would like to donate a $1.00 for each hanging basket that we sell this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please help us help this family in need with their medical expenses especially during this crazy time. We can not express our gratitude to our wonderful community. We thought we would give back with a small donation to SES PTA but instead we sold 522 Hanging Baskets from May 1st to May 10th! We had a $3.00 cash donation so total amount donated to the SES PTA is $525.00!!! WHAT WE ARE DOING TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID -19 We are a family owned business that will continue to provide our customers with service during this difficult time. Our establishment has always been well maintained and kept cleaned but with the increased call for social distancing related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have instituted preventive/protective measures to ensure the safety of ourselves, employees, customers, and our surrounding community by continuou...sly cleaning and sanitizing our equipment and surfaces that could be the pathway for transmission to people with contact. A few things to know while you visit this year at the Store and the Greenhouse. While entering the Store, we are limiting to 3 customers in the store at one time and mask must be worn. We are allowing Take-Out Only at this time, there is no sit down eating. While entering the Greenhouse, we are limiting to 10 customers in the greenhouse at one time and mask must be worn. Please remember to be courteous to everyone else and remain 6 feet from one another. Also we know that its fun for the family to get out and do their flower shopping but with the limited amount of customers in the greenhouse, please do not bring your family for an outing in the Greenhouse this year. We are offering curbside assistance as well. We do offer delivery but we do have a delivery fee depending on where we are delivering to. We accept Cash, Check and Credit Cards. We do not accept American Express. Our hours of operation starting May 4th will be Monday-Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 9-5. During the week if the weather is not permitting us to be open till 7pm we will close at 6pm. Please don't hesitate to call to make sure we are open. We do have gift certificates available as well. If you have questions on Mulch/Compost/Topsoil, please contact Dave's Compost & Mulch at (716) 592-2199 or (716) 864-8928, they will be able to further assist you or set up deliveries. They are only taking Cash or Check. Checks can be payable to Cathy Miller. Dave's Compost & Mulch is open 9am-5pm Monday -Sunday. An appointment needs to be set after 5pm. Thank-You! Exciting News.... Each year we team up with Springville PTA to do their annual hanging basket fundraiser. The Springville PTA is a group of parent and teacher volunteers who provide additional, exciting activities and valued programs for SES students. We have been working with them for at least the past 8 years. Unfortunately this year has been extremely difficult for this fundraiser to work out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So we have decided to do something a little different this year. Starting Friday May 1st to Sunday May 10th for every hanging basket we sell, we will donate $1.00 to the Springville PTA.
