Jamesport Meeting House Preservation Trust 02.12.2020

The Meeting House misses you! This has been a tough year for both performing arts venues and performers. We haven't had a concert since January, and here we are in December. But we have some very exciting news. Many of you will remember the stunning concert by soprano Emily Donato last November. So much did she enjoy singing in the Meeting House that she is now eager to return with two former Yale School of Music classmates to perform in a soprano-flute-guitar ensemble. T...hey are calling themselves the Clio Artist Project. We are delighted to announce that the Clio Artist Project will perform a special Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 20th at 4 p.m. with music spanning the centuries, from timeless Bach arias to Britten's haunting folk songs. They have promised to close the afternoon with some nostalgic holiday favorites. We need your help to make this happen. Dear Meeting House extended family and friends, please consider taking a lead by becoming a Patron of the Christmas Concert with a contribution of $100 or more to help cover the expenses of bringing such virtuoso performing artists to Jamesport. Tickets for this live-steamed concert will go on sale soon, but as a Patron you will have the option of attending the concert in person (pandemic rules allowing, strictly limited to twenty masked people to conform to current social distancing protocols) or to enjoy the beautiful music live in the comfort of your own home. After the program, the afternoon will continue with a virtual Meet-the-Artists reception of questions, comments, and conversation. If you would like to help underwrite this special event and brighten the season by becoming a Patron, please click the link below. Being able to perform at the Meeting House will mean a great deal to Emily, Helen and Nicoletta and for the Meeting House. We'll get right back to you personally with all the relevant information! https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/m
