We’ve had an exciting day here at Silvertree Seniors of Jamestown - thanks to the Chautauqua County Health Department and Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services, residents who opted in were able to have the Johnson & Johnson 1-dose COVID-19 vaccine literally at their door! Anderson Manor, Anderson Tower, and Westerberg Tower residents received vaccines in the comfort of their own home, under close supervision of county and Silvertree staff. Tomorrow, residents at our remaining properties have the option of attending a clinic downtown. We are excited and proud that we are one step closer to immunity!

While we are still working with the Office of the Aging to try and bring vaccine clinics on to our sites, CVS in Westfield has vaccine slots open for those 65+ as of 7am today. If you have transportation, or a friend or family member who can drive you, here is the online registration link.

October 29th is National Cat Day! Although we don't get a chance to see them as often as we see the dogs who live here, Silvertree Seniors of Jamestown has plenty of feline residents. The residents of Carlson Towers have been hard at work getting their revamped community lounge in order for when they are allowed to open back up!

The community room at Methodist Gardens has come together nicely! And, new rockers on the patio will make this a great gathering space once covid restrictions are lifted!

We love showing off the inside of our buildings, but it’s such a gorgeous fall day at Anderson Tower that we had to capture it! The falling orange leaves from the tree out front contrast beautifully with the bright blue sky and our blue sign.
