HURRAY!!!! TODAY'S THE DAY!!!! We are back and can now provide our normal services! We are adjusting to our new "normal" but boy, it feels good to be at it again!!! We will continue to social distance while in the office which may require some tweaking to your scheduled appointment times. Please be patient with us as we try to get you in! Hello Everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update. As some parts of NYS are reopening after today, we unfortunately have NOT yet been given the green light to return to our routine procedures. At this time, we are still in an EMERGENCY basis only. According to the American Dental Association, dental emergencies are potentially life threatening and require immediate treatment... to stop ongoing tissue bleeding, alleviate severe pain or infection, and include: Uncontrolled bleeding Cellulitis or a diffuse soft tissue bacterial infection with intra-oral or extra-oral swelling that potentially compromise the patient’s airway Trauma involving facial bones, potentially compromising the patient’s airway We are hopeful that more dental treatments will soon be allowed. We will try our very best to keep you as informed as we can. Thank you for being so patient and we look forward to seeing you soon!

ATTENTION: We love our staff and patients. Our goal is always to protect and serve. Due to the proximity we are in with saliva and aerosols from our mouths, which are produced in the office from routine procedures and the link there is with the spread of this particular virus, we were faced head on with making a very difficult decision to keep us all safe. In an effort to do our part to help flatten the curve of the Covid- 19 virus, we have made the difficult decision to ...only see EMERGENCY patients experiencing a dental issue for the next few weeks. PLEASE CALL our office as our phones and email will still be heavily monitored. We are open limited to an EMERGENCY basis. Stay safe everyone, don’t forget to brush and floss while you are there washing your hands!

February is National Children's Dental Health Month!!! Baby teeth are just as important as adult teeth. Baby teeth help kids eat and speak. Did you know healthy teeth also help their face to grow and mature? Proper oral health can also impact their self-esteem. Make sure the children in your lives are healthy by scheduling their routine cleaning and exam. Feel free to call our office if you have any questions or concerns!

Because... that is the amount of time needed for the active ingredients in toothpaste to work! If you don’t brush for that long, then the toothpaste is unable to do what it needs to do! We are getting ready for March Madness here in the office! We have a new display case setup for the LEGENDS of Syracuse basketball! This case is based on featured players in the book compiled by Mike Waters. Some notable players are Lawrence Moten aka "Poetry in Moten", Etan Thomas, and Roosevelt Bouie! Can you name any others? Who do you think needs to be added into this legends category? Let's discuss! Go SU!

Valentine's day is right around the corner! This year, our valentine is Loverboy, the Canadian rock band from the late 70's- 80's. They sang classics like "Working for the Weekend" and "Turn me Loose". Instead of giving chocolates to your loved ones, maybe we should all give out bandanas to wear around our foreheads!

We started off the new decade getting groovy! We pulled out our 8-tracks, put on some bell bottoms, participated in the world-record attempt to have the most people do the YMCA simultaneously on New Year's Eve, and had some Saturday Night fever. What decade/ genre of music are we in? Check out our newest display case. Who can you pick out?

It's the most wonderful time of the year...to show Dr. Pliszczak's winter collection of memorabilia. She has gathered quite the collection of merriment including a photo with Brenda Lee who sang the classic "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" song. Can you guess who the other artists are?

As some of you may know, Dr. Pliszczak is a huge SU Basketball fan. What you may not know, is that she gives back to our community in various ways. This current display case is from a recent event, the 28th Annual Ms. Orange Fan Luncheon, which she attended to help support the Make A Wish Foundation. It is crazy how tall these players are!

Hooray!! Today is the first day of my favorite month! It's time for comfy sweaters, pumpkin spiced everything, spooky movies, AND... IT IS NATIONAL DENTAL HYGIENE MONTH! Our oral health is so important, we have an entire month devoted to it! Here is a peek at our display case showing celebrities advocating proper brushing! Have you changed your toothbrush lately? Also, today is our first anniversary at our new office! We can't believe it has been a year thus far. Thank you all for joining us on this wonderful journey! We appreciate all of you!
