We're watching and waiting . . . still no firm decision. IF the roads clear and it's safe to drive we MIGHT be able to open this afternoon, BUT (no pun intended) no amount of cans are worth MY can If we don't get open today and you need to get them gone, please feel free to call me to arrange a possible time to come in tomorrow. And, as always, we WILL be open on Thursday and Saturday from 9:30 to 4:30. Please check back or feel free to call for updates this afternoon. Above all PLEASE BE SAFE OUT THERE!

IT'S GOING TO SNOW! Soooooo . . . We'll be opening tomorrow (Thursday - 12/17/2020) at noon(ish) or as soon as the roads are safe enough to travel. Please feel free to call if you're unsure of our status. As usual, keep your cans safe and don't drive unless you absolutely must!!!

WE DID IT! We've been able to stay open full hours twice in a row - Saturday (took in 34,000) and Tuesday (Yesterday, 25,000) Maybe things are returning to "normal"? We thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this wild, weird, crazy time. We'll be open again Thursday and Saturday to receive your returns and will do our utmost to be open full days - 9:30-4:30. See you soon!

We almost made it a full day before becoming overwhelmed (Saturday we lasted until 3:00). Things are looking up! We'll try it again on Tuesday. After opening late on Tuesday we had to close early again - but not until we took in another 20,000 bottles and cans! We're going to try this again tomorrow . . . We'll open at 9:30 in the morning and we'll remain open until we just can't fit any more in the building. I can't thank everyone enough for their patience and understanding through this wild time. I've brought on an extra person to help, so once she's trained we may have better luck being open full days. Until then, we'll keep doing the best we can and hope everyone gets an opportunity to unload some of the empties that we know are in the way!

We tried, really we did, but try as we may we just couldn't find the bottom of 'the pit'. We'll get back in there first thing in the morning but unfortunately we'll need a few hours to get ready for more incoming SO, tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2nd) we will open at 12:30 and will remain open until 4:30 or until 'the pit' is full again! We CAN and WILL get through the backlog . . . . . . . SOMEDAY
