Heatstroke in dogs Unlike humans, dogs can't sweat through their skin and so they rely on panting and releasing heat through their paw pads and nose to regulate... their body temperature and keep cool. Imagine wearing a thick winter coat on a hot summer's day and you'll understand why dogs succumb to heatstroke so easily. We don't have to send this message out often but today we do..... Please consider your pets' struggles to stay cool and even safe in this weather. Hot pavement burns paws, hot sun dehydrates animals and hot cars kill them. Shade and fresh water for everyone please ! share share share..... (This is K-9 O'Nei, Deputy Adam Hallett's partner staying cool in the shade.)
The scanner is back online. I still have some work to do on the computer, so it may be down here and there, but downtime should be minimal.
The scanner is currently down due to a computer issue. Had a little power issue which decided to corrupt the operating system. Hope to have it back up sometime tomorrow and I may check into seeing if I can get the channel names to work again.
Found - Thank you!
