I used to strongly dislike the clinch. In fact, I thought it was dumb but that’s because my clinch game was baby doo doo. After countless sweeps and numbing neck aches, I now have a better understanding of the clinch and can’t get enough. There’s still major room for improvement but realizing that I wasn’t getting better because I didn’t like it was a poor mentality of mine and the reason I didn’t improve.
