Today, on the anniversary of the fire, I am Intentionally remembering my beautiful massage office at 17 Mill St. in Naples. To those of you who joined me there, thank you for being a part of that dream even if, like a shooting star it wasn’t meant to last.

My Dear Clients and friends, it’s been 8 months since my first life saving surgery and 9 months since I’ve been physically able to practice massage. I want to update you all, to inform you I’ve just had my 3rd and hopefully last surgery. Now it’s time to focus on healing and rebuilding my body through self care and patience. I still mourn my beautiful office space and sadly I don’t have anything else to share on what comes next. Just know, I still dream of walkin...g in those doors and setting a sanctuary of healing space. Despite the fact that space is now a parking lot I refuse to believe those days are over. I will get back to you at some time, in some place, in Naples. Until then, I wish you all a happy new year full of self care. As before, I’m happy to make references and connections to other therapists in our region upon request. Please know I intend to make good on any gift certificates purchased prior to my illness. I just can’t say when at this time. Love Jessica Witherow LMT See more

The fall is such a good time to let go. I miss my massage practice. Each client, a beautiful leaf nurtured by my branches. But alas, with as much grace as I can muster... I must let go and go with the flow for now.....

My Dear Clients, So many of you already know, I have been in and out of the hospital fighting for my life, dealing with my autoimmune disease Ulcerative Colitis. I’ve had a life saving emergency surgery to remove the perforated portion of my Large Intestine. There will be another surgery to come at an undetermined time in the future. I’ve lost 20lbs and most of my muscle mass in the process. I have a long road ahead. So what does this mean for us? I still have my offic...e, all my mental faculties, and a driving will to not give up on the career I built with my own two hands which I love so passionately (I think you all know how very much I love being your massage therapist ). It will be some time before I personally can physically do massage but I promise I’m still working on plans for Global View Wellness. In the mean time, I encourage you all to keep receiving body work! I have a large network of therapist I work with personally and would be happy to make references to you. Please message me if you would like to know who I think may suit you best. I love you all and do not expect any of you to wait for me. All therapist have their own special gifts to offer! I promise I won’t give up this healing battle I’m fighting and when I’m ready and able, you’ll be the first to know! Keep an eye out for Global View Wellness news. Love Jessica See more
