We can Choose Fear or Faith: Fear is something we all battle from time to time. Although some fears are rational some can be irrational. Fears can be overcome by tapping into these things: 1). Believe that God loves us eternally and unconditionally. He values and sees us as precious. He died for us while we were still sinners (John 15:13; Romans 8:31-39). Nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:31-39).... 2). Believe that God will protect His children from all harm. The Bible says that, No weapon formed against you shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 91). God also gives us wisdom on how to protect ourselves from danger. That is wear a mask, social distance and disinfect during coronavirus time. 3). Believe God is with us and will never leave us or forsake us. (Isiah 41:10; Hebrews 13:5). 4). Believe that God will give us the strength to face our fears. We can do everything through Him who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13). 5). Don’t believe in Satan’s lies. Satan is the Father of lies and he came to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus came to give us life. (John 10:10-29; John 8:44). 6). God will give us courage when we ask Him. (Joshua 1:9). 7). God will give you peace when you pray for it (John 14:27) What you need to pray for: Pray for God to help you to believe in his love, protection and presence. Pray to feel God’s love, and presence. Pray for strength and courage. Pray for truth. D.C.

God Loves You And Wants To Have A Relationship With You: What does this looks like? What does believe in Him" in the verse below means? For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16). No one can get into Heaven except through Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. (John 14:6). What does believe in Jesus means? 1). Believe that He is the Messiah and already came ...to earth over two thousand years ago. 2). Believe that because God loves us so much and we are valuable to Him, He came in flesh as Jesus to die for our sins. His blood forgives us of sin. God wants to rescue us from this dark world and bring us into His glorious light. He wants to give us a life of joy, peace, happiness etc. 3). Believe in His teachings and that of repentance. The Greek word Metanoia is used in the Bible and means a change of heart/mind or repentance. We therefore turn away from sin. D.C See more

You Will Be Blessed When You are Unselfish: Selfishness will rob us of happiness/joy and there is no place for selfishness in Heaven. This is a difficult season we are in with the coronavirus and we need to be kind to others. 1). Don’t only focus on what you want but what you can do for someone else. Things don’t give us true happiness. Ask yourself, How can I serve others? Some things that we can do for others: pray for one another; send a card; make a telephone call; serv...e in the Church; feed the hungry, clothed the naked etc. Jesus talks about the sheep and goats. The sheep care for other people and will gain eternal life, whereas the goats are selfish and will not gain eternal life (Matthew 25: 31-46). Be a sheep!! The rich young ruler was so greedy and refused to repent when Jesus told him to go and sell everything he had and give to the poor. He was a wealthy man. He walked away sad and ended up not gaining eternal life (Luke 18:18-30).. The scripture says, But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money.. (2nd Timothy 3:1-9). 2). Don’t concern yourself about what you can get from others but what you can give. We shouldn’t expect people to do things for us because that will give us a sense of entitlement. Let them volunteer. Some also just think of building wealth and robing others which is based on greed. Things don’t give us joy. Jesus said, Where your heart is that is where your treasure is. (Matthew 6: 19-24) 3). Don’t be concerned about what people are thinking about you. In most cases they are not thinking about you. We don’t have to impress other people with our wealth because God accepts us where we are and no matter what. Take your focus off yourself and place it on others. Chanel that energy into helping someone. 4). By loving others we show that we are unselfish. Love is not selfish (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). 5). Generous people will be blessed (Proverbs 22:9; Deuteronomy 15:10). Joy comes to us when we serve others. Joy can only come from a relationship with God (Romans 12; Galatians 5:13). D.C.
