#Repost @doctorshafee with @get_repost This was not an easy one My patient had a hopeless tooth, ill fitting crowns and an asymmetrical smile. .... . . We designed the case with the final outcome in mind before the surgical component. Implant was placed by @dr.figueroa_implantperio and we left it under the gums for a few months to become stable and integrate with the bone. In that time I fabricated for the patient a temporary prosthesis- snap on smile- to replace the missing tooth. A few months later we uncovered the implant and placed a temporary crown to train the soft tissue and sculpt it, this way we achieve the desired emergence profile of the permanent implant crown that mimics the way natural teeth emerge from the gums. We replaced the failing crowns and added some veneers to have a beautiful symmetrical and natural smile. We also whitened the lower teeth to match the upper to the lower and have that harmony . . . The patient is thrilled, his smile is so natural...the teeth look like his own.
