REAL ESTATE. So most people who talk to me know that I don't think this is the best time to buy a home. A lot of people would disagree with me but hear me out. The federal government has stepped in with stimulus checks and the interest rates are at the lowest they have been for as long as I know of. This SHOULD be the optimum time to buy BUT due to the pandemic people aren't selling like they would be. People dont want strangers spreading germs through their house. A lot... of people choose not to show or do open houses because of this. Thus causes issues because its harder to see a house multiple times if its occupied. In addition to this because so many people want to buy and fewer houses are for sale it creates what we call a SELLERS market! This means housing prices are a lot higher than usual and because of the high volume of buyers many bidding wars occur driving the house price even higher! It's a great time to sell but buyer beware. It's not the right time. Instead work on getting credit straight. Get a credit card and keep a low balance on it. Pay it off every month. Look into buyer programs.
