Been very busy lately and really lackluster with posting pics and updates. Needless to say it's been a grind, but things have taken a slight upswing in the past week. We're still getting a mix of fresher fish, spawning fish, and spawned out fish. Working lots of different baits and covering water has been key to our success as of late. Despite the fishing being a little tough, some really nice fish are hitting the deck day in & day out. I just have a few dates left open this spring to fish. March 30th & 31st, April 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th 9th, and 30th. Other than that we are totally booked, but depending on water levels and fish numbers, we will fish the river all the way into May and I have openings then as well. The story for January and the start of February remain the same. Pretty tough fishing with not a lot of targets, but certainly some good days mixed in and plenty of nice fish being caught. Catching fish consistently, but the fish are anything but consistent. Having the right bait on when the normal stuff fails to take bites, has been key in picking up a few extra fish. Some of our pics so far in 2021! The first part of January has been alright- some days better than others as per usual. But some nice quality fresh fish are around, and there's tons of nice browns in the river for bonus catches. I'm still booking trips all through out the winter months! There's been some really nice fish hitting the deck recently! I have just a few open dates left this month to get in on the action. Here's just a few pics from the past week. We fish all through the winter and fishing is only going to continue to improve. We should have plenty of water and fish to make for some awesome winter fishing the next few months
