Earned a dismissal for my client in her DWI case after fighting for more than a year!! Following my motion to dismiss the District Attorney's Office conceded today that my client was denied a speedy trial!

Took a Not Guilty verdict today after a three week Assault trial - my client was acquitted of all charges when the jury correctly concluded he was acting in self-defense!

Received a "Not Guilty" verdict today on Two Felony Assault charges along with two Misdemeanors at Nassau County Court. The Jury deliberated for for one day before concluding the people had failed to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt! This was the second trial for the same incident - the first one ended in a partial verdict in my client's favor.

I recently went to trial on an assault case where the prosecutor withheld a statement from a witness who told the police my client was defending himself! There is a greater right to learn of and interview witnesses early in civil cases than when your liberty is at stake in a criminal case. Clearly time to re-think the rules in New York!
