Made one of my new holiday flavors this week! Apple Crisp Cheesecake! What do you think?

Ok! So here's another cake to temp your buying impulses! Boston Cream; it has a yellow cake 'crust' a layer of cheesecake, then a thick chocolate ganache on top!

Ok, so I've realized I'm missing something crucial on this page, so here it is! My list of cheesecake flavors!

Hello! Let's get the conversation started! I'm mulling around doing a "cheesecake of the month" type of thing where one would pay a flat rate for a year's worth of cheesecake (one each month). The charge, I'm thinking, would be $165, which would mean you're paying for 10 cakes and getting 2 free! How many people would be interested in that type of thing, or do you know people who might be?... Let's talk about it!

Here is another one of my newer flavors; Cinnamon Bun. I debuted this one at my "day job's" Christmas luncheon!

Sooooo.I haven't been active on this page for a great spell, I'm going to try and work on that! LOL! I've been pretty busy with the cakes, and coming up with new stuff to make to expand business. I'll post a couple of pics of some new flavors that I've added to my growing list of cheesecake flavors, and I'm always up to looking for more based on suggestions from all of you! I'm also looking to do more cheesecake parties locally! They're an opportunity for you to get FREE che...esecake and help your friends and family become more acquainted with my cakes! Attention friends and family (especially those in the FFCS school district)! Tomorrow night is the budget vote, and when you go up to vote why not pop over to the Elementary School and visit me from the hours of 5-8 and purchase some delicious (and dare I say famous?) cheesecakes! I'll have slices for $2.50 and individual whole cakes for $5.00! I have 6 flavors for purchase, and they are: Plain, Blueberry Swirl, Peanut Butter Butterfinger, Triple Chocolate, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Caramel Apple! With every purchase, 20% of the cost will be donated to the PTA; so come on out and support the kids! I will also be taking orders for full size (9") cakes for $15.00; again 20% will go to the PTA!!

So, after the first full week of the new year, I've found myself pondering some new product "ideas" (probably not new in the grand scheme of life, but new to me). I'm going to try my hand at making cheesecake truffles with the new molds that I got for Christmas from Mark and Christina! What this means is that they will be a ball of cheesecake smothered in melted chocolate! This also means that they will be crustless, so also gluten free! So now all of my GF friends and family can enjoy my cheesecake! Speaking of enjoying my cakes...have any of you stopped into The Raindancer for a slice? This weekend, they're featuring Peanut Butter Butterfinger and Irish Cream Caramel!! Would love some feedback from my friends! Let's get the conversation going!

As I pulled out my final cake order for this year, I was reminded on what a GREAT year this has been for me! I held 2 fundraisers with the help of my Godmother in Virginia. I was able to start selling my cakes to The Raindancer restaurant with the help of Christina. I held 2 home parties for good friends Deb Klim and her daughter Victoria, not to mention the great sales I had at the craft shows I went to! As I look into the future, I'm seeing GREAT things for Johnny's Cakes! ...I'm currently looking into renting kitchen space in order to possibly gain more restaurant sales, as well as hopefully gaining a few more fundraisers here and there! I've come upon an awesome wave, and I'm riding it for all it's worth!! This week at The Raindancer, they will be featuring two flavors of cheesecake. A very rich, decadent chocolate and a festive salted caramel! Why not stop in and enjoy dinner and a slice of Johnny's Cakes' cheesecake! Merry Christmas to all of my friends and family! :-)

As we gear up for Thanksgiving in a couple of weeks, do you have your desserts?? How about a delicious cheesecake or two (or more)?? This weekend at The Raindancer, they're featuring two varieties of cakes! Caramel Apple with a graham cracker crust, a layer of apples, cheesecake filling topped with caramel covered apple slices; and Peanut Butter Butterfinger, which is a chocolate graham crust, peanut butter flavored cheesecake with butterfinger pieces mixed in, topped with a layer of peanut butter and crushed butterfingers!
