Johnson Creek Cottage

Here is feedback from our renter Christine who came in August with her husband, 2 children and dog.. So happy everyone had a good time! Johnson Creek Cottage - Beautiful, Peaceful, Relaxing Review #28215345... We had a great time. The cottage was even better than described. Beautiful view, spacious, very clean and it had everything you could think of. Having the ROKU TVs in very room with the comfy recliner sofas was a big hit. We brought our 1 year old chocolate lab, so it was nice to have the fenced in area to let her run around and play ball in. We also were able to let her hang out with us on the upper deck after we blocked off the stairs. Plenty of room in the basement for her kennel (which we were glad we brought). The location was great. We took advantage of the kayaks she had for rent. So you could enjoy the long calm creek in one direction, or go in the other direction and you are just a paddle away from Lake Ontario (perfect if you have a boat). Sooo peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was great for bike riding, seeing all the cute cottages, great lake views, and we also rode through scenic Lakeside Beach State Park which was just a short bike ride away. The small grocery store had the necessities, but if you need more, Albion is only 20 min away. But they did have great subs. Circle R was our favorite for breakfast sandwiches & buying some fresh fruit. Jill was the perfect hostess, she was very responsive & helpful. I just can’t say enough about this place. Newly available to rent on Johnson Creek! Our family cottage, Insulated 2 Story with Central Air Conditioning and Heat. This cottage sets on Johnson Creek with access to Lake Ontario. The cottage is spacious with 900 sq feet on the top floor and a basement walk out. An upper living room / dining room, kitchen, pantry, full bath, and bedrooms. Downstairs game room, half bath, 2nd Kitchen, and lots of area for gear or additional space for air mattresses. Spectrum internet ...plus two 55" and two 32" TVs with ROKU/Spectrum/Netflix etc... This cottage boasts a large yard, kayak house, fenced in area, second kitchen, a double sun deck, and a dock. You can really spread out here and have privacy. Private Dock is 16' long this year due to high water level. Boats welcome. Natural boat launch available on Lakeside Road near Route 18. Also available: kayak ($20/day/kayak) and bike rentals ($10/day/bike) - to be paid directly to owner. Rental days equal to days stay.
