What inspires you? . I am inspired by so many things. It’s hard sometimes in the clutter of a crazy, busy life to be inspired. However I find, if I find some peace and quiet ( that may just be while I’m falling to sleep at night) Maybe just a walk or just driving in my car. I make a point every once in a while to find it and it opens up my creativity and helps me be inspired! . I get inspiration from a lot of things. I can be inspired by a fabric, a piece of furniture, an ...outfit, a tree, even a commercial or magazine! I just know when I see something if I like it. Right away it sparks my imagination! It helps me open up my creativity and it just lights the fire I need! . I love getting sparked by something that gets my inspiration going! It’s an important part of being a flower designer! As a creative person it’s really what keeps me going. It’s a part of me! . The holidays really make me so inspired! Especially during this CRAZY year. I see so many of us decorating earlier this year! It’s because it makes us happy! Being creative is very satisfying! . I thought I would show you how I create my outside wreaths and pots that I do every year. . I have been repurposing the same 3 artificial wreaths as my base every year for at least 10 years! Every year I have a new inspiration. This year I found a picture in an ad for #potterybarn. I also found this tartan ribbon that I loved. . A walk around my yard for white pine, juniper, spruce, and even some golden cypress . A few sprays from my local craft store and hot glue pan and a wire cutter was all I needed! . I’m kind of obsessed with this bridal bouquet.. It might be my favorite in a very long time. I am loving the anemone so much!The berries and dusty miller give that texture and bring in the silver/gray touches the rest of the wedding has. The best is how the cream spray roses really contrast with white. The bride wanted a touch of burgundy so we used dahlias and spray roses! Swipe to see all the angles! The progression of a wrist corsage! These are not like the old fashioned wrist corsages our grandmothers used to wear. The are build on a bracelet to size anyone while still looking elegant. The bracelets come in so many colors and finishes! They are dainty and and way more modern! Other embellishments can be added! A fabulous day for a baby shower! . All inspired by a beautiful invitation! . There were so many fantastic details for this mama to be! In this perfect location! These gorgeous table settings had foliage surrounding an eclectic mix of candles. A mix of antique gold tapers with glass cylinders and antique gold votives. Table numbers, seating chart and welcome sign ( done by @all4lettering ) were all embellished with garlands of fresh seeded eucalyptus and green foliage. ...Touches of open roses and queen Ann’s lace gave it all the finishing touch! Lily of the valley! These make me very nostalgic! My grandmother’s favorite flower. Her birthday was in May and they bloom around her birthday. I used to pick for her every year. They smell like sweet perfume . The smell brings me back to so many good memories of her.

How amazing are lilacs? They make me so happy. Such a sign of spring! The smell is just so yummy!! . They are extra special this year too. After 2 1/2 months of quarantine and if you live in NY the weather has been unreal. I really thought spring was never going to come. Well it’s finally beautiful out and the flowers are starting to bloom! . I always think of what an amazing thing how after our harsh winters the flowers still bloom in the spring. We are in phase 1 of re...opening after this devastating virus. I almost feel like a flower in the spring! . I am really feeling so sad for all the brides that have had to postpone their weddings and showers and all the happiness that goes along with it. You will get your time soon. I feel very sad for all the kids that missed their proms. All the seniors, and 5th and 8th grade students that don’t get the happiness that they deserve and earned. My heart goes out to you all. . Just like these lilacs after our harsh winter ... just like a rainbow after a storm. It will all be ok. This too shall pass. The flowers will still bloom! It’s always more beautiful when you have to wait. . Prayers that we all return to whatever is our new normal safely. Prayers to those who suffered or are still suffering from this virus. . See more
