With having no recognition dinner for the members this year, here are the award winners for the year 2020. Excellent job gentlemen and thank you for your service to our community! 2nd Assistant Chief Rich Craver received the Pasquarell Dedication Award for outstanding service to both the Fire District and Fire Company. Ryan Klimkewicz and Jim Miller were awarded the Chief’s Award for outstanding service to the Fire District.... Bill Dell’Anno was awarded a special award of thanks from Chief Champagne for the years of service Bill provided as 2nd Assistant Chief to the Jonesville Fire District.

Slight backlog of FFotM posts, but they all deserve the recognition! Congratulations to Joe Family, Gabe Moronta, Mike Mayo, Jim Miller, Bonnie Westlake, Mike Murphy, John Axten and Dave Higgins as Firefighter of the Month for October for assisting during the Flashover Training that Jonesville hosted. Additionally, congratulations to Uzair Ahmad and Mike Burke as Firefighter of the Month for November. Uzair successfully completed the BEFO course and Mike successfully completed the IFO course for Firefighter 1.

The Jonesville Fire Department will hold their annual Santa Patrol on Friday Dec. 11th, Saturday Dec. 12th, Friday Dec. 18th and Saturday Dec. 19th. The hours are from 6 p.m. 9 p.m. on Friday’s and from 9 a.m. 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Apparatus and crews from Jonesville Fire Department plan to visit every street in the Jonesville Fire District with Santa on board as their special guest. Please see the image for rough estimates of the days we plan to visit each neighborhood. Updates to the schedule will be posted as needed.

Friends and neighbors Despite the difficult challenges that this year has brought us, more than ever before, we need a little holiday cheer. The members of the Jonesville Fire Department will be conducting the Santa Patrol again this year. Santa and his elves from Jonesville Fire Department will be visiting the neighborhoods in our district on the following dates: Friday, December 11 6-9PM... Saturday, December 12 9AM-6PM Friday, December 18 6-9PM Saturday, December 19 9AM-6PM As in the past, we ask that you understand that we cannot predict what time we will be in each neighborhood as that depends on many factors including the weather and the need to respond to emergencies that may occur during our travels. We ask you to be patient and we will do the very best we can. Even if you are concerned about approaching the sleigh, please come out on your porch and wave to Santa. We will have candy stockings for the kids and they will be distributed with our elves masked and gloved. We look forward to seeing our community this year and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
