Journey for Health & Healing 22.05.2021

sacrifices were made so I could cook this meal. . I am so sorry for my disappearance here, I’ve had A LOT happening for me, all positive! But I have been struggling juggling EVERYTHING! I recently got a full time job, after being unemployed for about a year and a half. It’s been a HUGE adjustment for me. During my year and a half away from work I was fortunate enough to be given time. Time to grieve, time to heal, time grow and time to make huge lifestyle changes. Now that ...I am working a full time job [which includes hours of overtime a week] I am learning how to maintain my healthy lifestyle and continue being a student at @nutritionschool all while working 40+ hours a week. I’ve been following what my intuition has been guiding me to do and that was to take a step back from @journeyforhealthandhealing so I could focus on getting into my groove of working again , school and staying on top of my health journey so I still remained happy and feeling fulfilled with my primary food in my circle of life. Until graduation [in a few weeks, yay! ] my priorities will remain to be with focusing on school, my new job [bills gotta be paid! ] and maintaining my healthy lifestyle. I just wanted to pop on here quick and share what’s been going on on my journey for health and healing. If you feel yourself struggling with trying to stay a float and happy just know it is ok and to give yourself a break. Listen to your intuition, do what makes you feel right in your soul and remember you are human and there is just not enough hours in a day to do it ALL! So tonight I sacrificed my workout to cook myself a nice healthy meal and I’m ok with it! Brain health is SO important, we have no idea what is going in our brains as we age, it’s not like our skin where we can physically see the aging process. I really enjoyed today’s journal entry. We already have all the answers in the back of our minds somewhere. Deep down we know who and what we need to leave behind in order for us to bloom and grow, sometimes it’s hard to actually take the action though. I love this prompt because it makes us dig deep back into our mind to acknowledge the things and people we need to leave behind and then writing it down is your first action step for the change to occur. It’s the small steps t...hat lead you to long term changes and when you are consistent with those steps often times they lead to permanent changes. Be patient with every part of your healing. Journaling can be intimidating and a little overwhelming when you first begin the practice. You’re not sure where to begin, what to write, how to write, thinking to yourself am I doing this right? I had all of those thoughts when I first began my journaling practice. There is no right or wrong way to journal and channel all of your feelings, let it flow. Journals with prompts are an excellent way to began your journaling journey, the prompts take off the pressure of what to w...rite about if you’re not feeling the flow. They are guided questions or statements to get your feelings flowing when you’re feeling stuck. Recently I moved and it threw me off all of my routines, journaling specifically.
