I want to acknowledge the passing of Paul Laubin, oboe maker extraordinaire, who died a week ago. Paul and his wife were the first to welcome me to this building in January 2020 (his studio is upstairs from the bakery). Paul would stop by the bakery often, and we would chat about the struggles of working alone during COVID. He was so kind to me, and a very loyal bread customer. May light perpetual shine upon him, and may the musicians lucky enough to own one of his instruments continue to make beautiful music around the world.

Hard to believe that Journeyman will be celebrating our first year as a brick-and-mortar bakery on March 15!
