The altar is where the worship of God Almighty originates. True worship is acknowledging God as Creator and Redeemer, the Beginning and the End. Worship is placing God first in everything we are and do. Proverbs 3:9 says, Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. The only way we can build an altar and bring the sacrifice of worship that honors God is by making Him Lord of everything! Without an altar of worship, spiritual progress and lasting change are NOT possible. We know, when an altar of worship is corrupted (worshipping the Lord the way WE choose), it effects our spiritual sensitivity to hear and obey God. So, how do we keep the altar of worship pure? 1. Approach God in holy reverence and according to His word (Hebrews 4:16, Psalm 100:4) 2. Build or renew an altar of worship at the beginning of every new season of change God brings to your life (Genesis 12:7, 22:15-18) The worship of God is the foundation of all blessings He has for His people (Exodus 20:24). We receive God’s blessings and BECOME blessings through worship. His blessings of courage, wisdom, power, strength, guidance, protection and provision are released through our obedience. Rebuilding the altar of worship is a sign of commitment to seek first His kingdom and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

We must recognize and align ourselves to God’s plan of worship. God’s altar was established so His people could be restored to fellowship with Him by bringing sin, guilt and fellowship offerings. Restoring the altar for fresh fire today is NOT about building a physical altar. The altar God desires today is a HEART that is fully committed to Him! For God’s people today, building and restoring the spiritual altar to house the spiritual fire of revival in God’s Kingdom is KEY! Restoring the spiritual altar provides the foundation to renew our: Love for God Dedication to God Fellowship with God Relationship with others Prayer Blessings from God (salvation, healing, fruits of the Holy Spirit, power, anointing, victory, provision) Covenant to live a life of true obedience to glorify God by living only for Him Commitment to a true revival Worship
