Happy Saturday from my favorite room in our home: our bedroom! She’s bold, cozy, soothing, sensual, and a real peach. This beautiful, Eastlake Victorian bed was a Marketplace score that was so oversized that we had to strap it to the top of my Dad’s van, and pray it wouldn’t slide off while crossing the Rhinecliff Bridge. The crystal light fixture was also from Marketplace, as well the vintage bedside tables that I painted a pale aqua, and added amber glass pulls. This is not an ad for FB Marketplace... or is it? Style is personal, and interior design is for everyone. Strive to create a one of a kind space that reflects, and supports who you want to be. Swipe for the bare-bones before.

This was my studio space back in February on its way to finding its groove...which is also a metaphor for me trying to find my groove. I finally feel like I have a good flow, and this space supports all the things that I do/want to do in it. Friends, I am ready for something new. I will always be an artist and designer, and now I will be adding interiors to my roster. I will also be incorporating energy work and shui into this practice. And by the way, interior design doesn’...t need a big budget. Sometimes, you just need to move your table, hang a mirror, or update your lighting. I feel so passionately about creating spaces that combine beauty, comfort and functionality. This feels exciting and scary to share with you all, but I feel the time is now. As I begin this new phase, I’d like to extend complimentary consultations to anyone who is interested in making their space sacred. Let’s all open ourselves up to a fresh chapter. Feeling like a new w o m a n I’ve been pretty quiet here, cocooning, riding the epic highs and lows that we’re all so familiar with at this point. Well, I’m feeling like it’s time for a comeback. I’m looking for inspiration, I’m looking for color, I’m looking for anything to boost my mood. I’m falling in love with interiors, shifting the energy in spaces and using our new home to experiment, special thanks to @meghan.wallace.james. It’s quite the aphrodisiac. Let’s keep doing the things that light us up. Working on refreshing my website with some mood boosting items. And YES, there will be socks.

It all started with painting an angel for my mom’s birthday... she is an angel queen. I’m a firm believer in angels. I think of them as otherworldly energies that guide and protect us. I think we could all use some extra angel energy right now. A new collection of angel paintings are going up in my online shop tomorrow! We bought our first home in Catskill, NY. She is a Victorian with beautiful bones, a lot of grime, and in need of some serious love.
