To our valued customers, It’s with a heavy heart we must announce that we will be temporarily closing JRB for the foreseeable future until the indoor dining ban is lifted. With the recent announcement from Governor Cuomo's ban on indoor dining, we unfortunately cannot justify keeping our beloved JRB opened with just our limited outdoor area. We have tried everything in our power to adhere to strict guidelines and a constantly changing environment to ensure the health and safe...ty of our staff and customers throughout the pandemic. We have made significant investments in state of the art air filtration systems and outdoor heaters, hand built (and re-built) elaborate outdoor street seating enclosures, installed dividers, sanitizing stations, temperature checks and contact tracing systems but unfortunately this is not enough. The restaurant industry has had to shoulder a disproportionate responsibility for rising cases and we pray that Congress will soon agree to provide relief for those bearing the brunt. We hope that everyone has a safe and healthy holiday season and we hope to see you when we reopen again in 2021. Cheers - JRB Team

After 6 long months we’re so excited to announce that we’re open for indoor dining at 25%! Our capacity is 18 and we’re ready to serve you at one of our socially distanced tables either inside or on our street dining. We have installed Merv-13 filters, QR Code check in for contact tracing and will be taking temperatures at the door to help keep you and us safe. Our staff will be masked and all patrons will be required to wear a mask at all times unless seated and enjoying your meal. Our hours are 11am-12am Monday - Saturday! Our government has not given us any plan on how to #saverestaurants. Outdoor dining is generating an average of 20% of 2019 revenue which doesn't come close to paying the bills let alone pay our staff. Our PPP funds are almost exhausted which was only a temporary solution to provide liquidity to supplement reduced revenues as the economy rebounded. Gyms, museums, even schools are opening with limited capacity with guidance from the state and local governments and NJ starts 25...% indoor dining this Friday, Sept. 4th. We are demanding a plan for restaurants and need to be heard; we are tired of waiting. Join us as we #march on #cityhall Monday, September 14th. We are calling on all restaurant workers who can join us. Please meet at City Hall at 9am. We will be demanding an indoor dining plan and boosting additional support for the #RestaurantsAct. Bring banners and signs with your restaurant's name. Wear your uniform, your whites, your aprons, gloves and masks to show who we are and what we do. They need to be accountable to the 167K restaurant workers they are essentially 86ing by staying silent.
