These have been my messy hair heroes this winter For effortless hair that’s *actually* effortless: towel dry hair with a microfiber towel... apply Supershine (Light if you have fine hair) mid length to ends run a few pumps of Matte Waves from roots to ends (be more generous if you want more texture!) use your hands to smoosh hair into place or take smaller sections and twirl if you’re lucky enough to have some natural wave let it dry naturally, or speed things up with a diffuser..either way, try not to touch your hair too much until it’s fully dry. That’s it! Go enjoy life with your cool girl hair that smells like HEAVEN

Do you feel like your hair looks greasy no matter what you do? Like even freshly washed and styled it just falls flat You’re likely using the wrong amount of shampoo. Especially with luxury brands, sulfate free shampoos tend to be more concentrated, so they need more water (not more product!) to produce more suds. When you over use shampoo, you’re doing two things: ... Stripping your scalp of its natural oils and telling your body to produce even more to make up for it If not rinsed properly, it’s creating buildup in the hair that can look and feel greasy It seems so simple, but make sure your hair is SUPER wet before you reach for that shampoo bottle, and only start out using a dollop about the size of a chickpea ...if you still struggle with oily strands, message me about how to use dry shampoo the right way!

Do you ever wonder if you’re using the wrong brush to get the look you want? . . Selecting the correct tool for the job will make it easier and more enjoyable to do your own blowout! .... . Here’s a breakdown on my fav brushes at the moment: Natural bristle round brush: great for coarse/frizzy hair, has good tension to smooth and add shine Ceramic round brush: perfect if you’re trying to add wave and bounce. Acts like a curling iron by heating up quicker than other brushes and setting that wave in! Flat dual bristle brush: my beloved #masonpearson ..the best for a smooth, straight blowout! Can still add plenty of volume (just in a more modern way ) . . There you have it! What’s your ride or die brush when doing your own hair??
